Connections In Progress

First I'd like to thank 长考7X24(javacofee) and 玄氏社区(xuanshishequ) for their help in figuring out how to post on this blog site. I think the HiMe feature is a good one, I'm not just a fan of virtual worlds, I'm also a fan of social networking and online collaboration. I've suggested and wanted a certain other virtual world to add social networking features to it's services but there hasn't been much sign of interest in it from either the company or the users. I think that virtual worlds would be more accepted and be able to retain users better if you have inworld abiliy to send one of your friends an email, send them a file, send them a message that they can read on their MSN or QQ or other IM program. Having every user have a blog seems like a great idea to me. It will take me a bit of work to figure this out since I can't read the labels on the controls and I have to select the text when possible and translate them with the ShaPlus Google extension. It's great seeing the Hipihi world be developed more. This is enough for a first post.
